How to Save password in Xamarin Forms ?

Hi ! I am a newbie in Xamarin World and recently I have tried to call a web api with the login email and password. Now I want to save the email and password in the local memory just like in Android we have Shared Preferences what will be the alternative in Xamarin Forms ?
Can anyone share a code snippet please ?
