It seems strange to me that when you have the Multiple selection mode on in the CollectionView, it allows the user to unselect an item in the collection by simply selecting it again. When Single selection mode is used, xamarin doesn't allow the user to unselect the item (unless its done programatically by setting to null). Is there a reason for this? I want the user to be able to select just one item and tap again to unselect it. My workarond was to set to Multiple in SelectionMode and then unselect the previous item if more than one is selected.
